Weather on the Way Carplay App

Weather on the Way is a neat app that combines navigation and weather to show you what to expect while traveling. Today's latest update brings CarPlay support, which means real-time weather radar plus navigation on the vehicle's display.

Developer Piotr Knapczyk describes the app this way:

"Weather on the Way combines weather and navigation to provide forecasts along the way as you travel. It's free to download and available on iPhone and iPad running iOS 13 and later. The app's forecasts are available worldwide Available across the region, weather alerts are limited to the United States, Canada, Iceland, the European Union, and Israel."

Weather on the Way version 1.7.2 was released today and brings valuable CarPlay support. This brings up the car:

• real-time radar
• predictions along the way
• national weather service warning
• direction

Piotr noted, “We made sure to adhere to Apple’s strict guidelines for CarPlay apps (i.e. no animated radar and turn-by-turn navigation), so we could be the first app to bring the radar view to the car’s infotainment screen.”

Weather on the Way is a free download from the App Store.

CarPlay support for the app is included in the Pro version. It's free for your first five rides, then costs $4.99 per month, $24.99 per year, or $84.99 for a lifetime purchase.
