Carplay activation on Mercedes

As Mercedes sells more and more vehicles after 2013, the question that keeps coming back to us is this: To get Apple Carplay, do I just need to order the activation dongle?

The disadvantage if you still have the original Apple Carplay option in your Mercedes is that you have to leave your iPhone plugged in all the time. Wireless Apple Carplay is possible, in this case you'll have to plug in our wireless dongle, available here.

If you don't have option 154 to be able to only activate your Apple Carplay liscence, then you will need to install a module to benefit from it.
