What are the advantages of Carplay?

Carplay is an Apple system launched in 2012 that adds even more to your driving experience. The system was created to make it easier to read while you're driving or in a traffic jam. It's similar to the original instructions we have, except for its special design with the integration of its iPhone or even Ipad. The Carplay module allows you to plug in a back-up camera, use GPS (whether with Waze, Google Maps, Map, iCoyote or others), compass, one of the many audio players, and many other applications from the Apple Store. And all this, of course, usable on your original screen.

The Carplay also has a feature called universal navigation, which can be used with a car and comes as standard but not with all major car manufacturers. For example, the BMW 3 Series and Toyota Camry are equipped with this technology. They show speed, direction, distance and estimated time of arrival on the touch screen of your iPhone. In terms of using the system, it is easy to find where you are in relation to your destination, as the system shows the actual map of your area using Google Maps. If you're in the middle of nowhere and you're lost, Carplay will show you the nearest gas station. In order to get a better view of your surroundings, the new system allows you to adjust the system settings for panning mode, so you will enjoy a better user experience.

For music fans, apps like Spotify, Deezer, Tidal are not unknown to you. Indeed, thanks to Carplay, you can find your musical universe and enjoy the audio quality of your original speakers in your car. 

The system needs your iPhone to work, and the application can be downloaded for free from iTunes. After installing it, you will see a menu of options at the bottom of the screen. You need to select "carplay" from the list and who will launch the application. The steps are simple: just follow the instructions on the screen. Of course, an iPhone must be used to install this application. Once the application is installed, it is activated and you can start using it as usual.
